(Crain’s) — Michael David Barrett, the former employee of Glenview-based Combined Insurance Co. of America who surreptitiously videotaped ESPN sports reporter Erin Andrews while she was dressing in her hotel room, is the subject of a new lawsuit by a former Combined employee who alleges he did the same thing to her.

Jamie Brubaker, a Knoxville, Tenn., resident who was a saleswoman for Combined until a few months ago, filed suit Nov. 12 in federal court in Knoxville against Mr. Barrett, Combined Insurance and a unit of Chicago-based Aon Corp., which owned Combined until 2008.

In her complaint, she says that she met with the FBI in May after the agency had obtained a copy of her driver’s license and identified her as a possible match on a video it had obtained from Mr. Barrett.
