I had surgery in April 2014 for prolapsed pelvic organs. Almost immediately began having problems and back pain. Saw several more doctors for 3 months including orthopedic, infectious disease and finally went to Mayo clinic. They immediately recognized the fact that the Bard mesh had permeated spinal area with infection. They performed surgery to remove infected tissue including disk in spine. Recovery of 8 months and back will never be the same.
